National Contracting Co. Ltd. has emerged as the lowest bidder by placing a bid worth USD 14.55 million. 
The scope of work will include the construction of 72 km of new 132kV double circuit, three-phase overhead transmission line from Existing Rawdatain RDTN ‘W’ substation to proposed Kathma ‘B’ 132/11kV substation in Mutla’a area using sing ACSR Zebra conductor per each phase of 400 sq. mm. Nominal cross-sectional area and one OPGW conductor as a ground wire. The work is expected to be completed, tested, and handover within 30 months from the award of contract. The scope will also include the construction of 16km of one new 132kV double circuit three-phase overhead transmission line between the existing Kathma ‘A’ substation and proposed Kathma ‘B’ substation using a single 400 sq. mm nominal area ACSR Zebra conductor per phase and one OPGW conductor. This is expected to be completed, tested, and handover within 24 months from the award of contract.
